Senior Citizen Deposit

Senior citizens over the age of 60 can open a deposit account under any of the fixed deposit schemes by presenting proof of age for the first time only. Joint accounts are authorized as long as the first named person is a Senior Citizen. Other benefits, such as loan and nomination, will be available for Senior Citizen deposits as well.

The product is available at all branches of the Bank.

SENIOR CITIZEN ACCOUNTS MAY BE OPENED UNDER :-
- Term Deposits like Re-Investment Scheme, Monthly Interest Scheme, Quarterly Interest Scheme, Short Term Deposit Scheme
- Recurring Deposits
- GS Mahanagar Bank Tax Saver Scheme

The period of deposit is from 7 days to 10 years.
